To take a walk down the Brahmaputra Auditorium of NPS International School, the Second Alumni Meet, 23rd December 2016, was inaugurated by the Director of NPS International School, Mr. J. N. Das on 23rd morning . The meet started traditionally with the lighting of lamp by Mrs. Probhati Biswas (Principal), Mr. R.N. Trivedi (Ex. Vice Principal) , Mrs. Papri Dey Borathakur(H.M.) , Coordinators, Teacher Coordinator of Alumni Association – Mr. Ansuman Mohanty & Mr. Ananta Das , Faulty members, Alumni members and followed by the Welcome Song , Welcome Dance , Games and other Cultural Events . The occasion was graced by more than 50 Alumni members ranging across various batches from various parts of the country as well. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal and Ex. Vice Principal underlined and praised the achievements of Alumni of NPS International School in all walks/spheres of life. They felt that it was matter of great pride for NPS, Guwahati that its Alumni are holding positions of responsibility in various Government organizations, PSUs, Private sector, Academic Institutions. Many of them are successful entrepreneurs providing jobs to others as well. They praised their contribution towards the growth of their Alma Mater and emphasized the need for further strengthening the linkage between the Alumni and current students.
Finally a new body was elected and constituted to carry forward the work of Alumni association. They are Mriganka Kar (President) , Bedanta Dihingia (Vice President) and Chandan Kumar Singh (General Secretary) . The new body thanked the alumni in reposing their faith in them and pledged to work selflessly for growth of association and NPS International School . The Meet ended with promise to meet again and everyone bid emotional farewell to each other and their beloved of NPS.
