As the new academic year begins around the world,
education’s ‘new normal’ remains to be one of seismic, constant change. Now is the time to find
strength in both the brilliant work and resilience demonstrated by the education community and
carry this adaptability forward. Due to COVID-19 in these unprecedented and challenging times
across the globe all sectors like education, real estate, tourism industry, etc. have been
affected and because of this the global economy has taken a major hit. The affect has been even
more prominent in a country like India. The education sector in India has witnessed many new
interventions during this pandemic. The way in which education is imparted to the students has
changed phenomenally across the country and technology has taken a major role in developing the
education sector. India’s education sector which was lagging far behind compared to other global
nations has now actually benefited due to this situation of crisis and we have progressed
technologically to a great extent.
